Dealer Notes

Check out this 2020!

Maximum utility meets passenger comfort in the midsize segment! Subaru prioritized comfort and style by including: a rear window wiper, a roof rack, and much more. Under the hood you'll find a 4 cylinder engine with more than 170 horsepower, and all wheel drive keeps this model firmly attached to the road surface.

Looks good. Disappointed that you cannot specify or exchange tires, but are stuck with o.e.m.. You would think that the company would have a mechanism to deal with this. Tires are Yokohama Avid Ascent and do not appear to be top rated. Would have chosen Michelin or Goodyear. Ride is good, but not as smooth as our Lexus RX-350. Like the styling and safety features. Large screen is pretty, but some adjustments, like heating and AC were much easier, and more intuitive on a 1970’s Ford. Hope to adjust. I really prefer dash mounted Garmin to Maps. In fairness, I may not be used to it. The CVT (continuously variable transmission) makes me anxious. Word is that Subaru increased warranty to 100,000 miles to avoid the embarrassment of a recall. It would be reassuring to have some updated information.
